Enter the house through lattice doors that lead up to one of three covered verandahs. A large multi-purpose entry room leads to a dine-in sized kitchen with walk-in pantry, 70cm Smeg gas and electric stove, dishwasher, fridge, and table and stools. Blue glass in the windows is echoed throughout the house.

As the house is furnished, you need to provide crockery, cutlery, cooking materials, and linen. A modern microwave is provided.

Stable doors lead to the large dining/living room that includes a handsome sideboard, piano (in-tune), three-seater sofa, comfortable chairs, and North-Qld red cedar coffee tables.

Three spacious bedrooms, two Queen and one Double. The bathroom with original century-old bath has ornate Delft blue and white tiles, and louvres that look to the ocean.

An enclosed verandah with uninterrupted ocean views has access from all bedrooms, and serves as a workroom, study, or play area.

The combination of SE breezes and the house’s high ceilings make it naturally cool.

Additionally, it has two powerful air-conditioning units, and a third in the main bedroom, together, they cool the whole house.

The original pine floors were restored in Jan 2023 to their natural honey colour.

The laundry with modern washing machine is downstairs. There is a lock-up storage room for tenants’ gear, and ample undercover parking space for two cars.

A screened hot and cold outdoor shower is a surprise seaside bonus!

The large garden is mowed monthly at the owner’s expense. Tenants are required to water some trees and plants as well as the pot plants in the downstairs entry area.
